On Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 the Serra Club of Indianapolis will sponsor a half-day visit for 8^th grade boys to Bishop Simon Brute College Seminary located at 2500 Cold Spring Road. Also on November 14, we will sponsor a half-day visit for 8^th grade girls to Our Lady of Grace Monastery located at 1402 Southern Avenue in Beech Grove. 

The purpose of these trips is to give young people a sense of the unique vocation that priests, brothers, and sisters offer to God and the church. Our club wants to help plant a seed that life spent in a religious vocation is worth considering and to encourage young people to be open to God's call.
A small number of schools already conduct trips like this for their 7th or 8th grade students each year. We hope that more parishes and schools will do this. In the meantime, we are happy to be able to provide this opportunity to a limited number of students from all parishes in the Indianapolis area.

As you select candidates for these pilgrimages, please keep in mind that we are looking for students who you feel have shown a possible interest in the priesthood or religious life or who might benefit from learning more about it. We anticipate being able to accommodate an average of two or three boys and two or three girls per parish or school. For this reason, we must ask you to please limit the number of permission forms you return. We will confirm by e-mail or phone with the sponsor for each student who can attend.

Permission forms must be submitted for each student who wishes to attend.  Please return completed permission forms no later than Monday, Nov. 7, 2022.
